I return today to an affordable Bordeaux blend last reviewed here (the 2013 vintage) eleven years ago – and it still tastes just as good.

From one of the prestige estates in the Haut-Medoc, this is a full-bodied wine, with a deep ruby colour and a nose dominated by aromas of ripe strawberry fruit and redcurrants. 

A year in new and old oak casks has helped to develop toasted oak and vanilla notes on the well-balanced palate, on top of plenty of black fruit flavours.
